Rouché Gouged/Shaped/Folded Oboe Cane

ROUCHÉ GOUGED / SHAPED / FOLDED CANE

Darkness. Power. Projection.

The most powerful-sounding cane we have ever come across.

Rouché combines a dark, rich tonal core with extraordinary power and projection. It cuts through dense orchestral textures while maintaining warmth and depth — ideal for the oboist who wants to reach the last seat of the fifth balcony.

Our premium European Arundo donax is seasoned in California for three years using our unique seasoning technique, allowing the cane to mature and stabilize naturally before processing.

Why Rouché?

Darkness + Power — Rich and dark, yet exceptionally focused and projecting.

Made for orchestral playing — Highly recommended for players who need their sound to carry through a full orchestra and large concert hall.

Lucarelli Shape — Wide through the belly for warmth, flexibility, stability, and projection.

Precision Gouging — Professionally gouged on a premium Udo Heng machine, made in Germany, for clean and consistent results.
